So, being new to tumblr, I thought I’d take a minute to talk about the service.

Im going to start off by saying that I can’t get enough of it. The whole premise is to be a blogging site, without all the fuss. It really gets the job done. There are a few simple settings, like blog title, themes, etc. Then, you have a couple general posting options.

• Regular Post - A standard text-based blog post.
• Photo - like it sounds, a photo post.
• Quote - Post a quote, and it’s author.
• Link - Post a url.
• Conversation - Post a conversation between two people.
• Video - Embed a video, such as youtube, google video, etc.

Theres also a great bookmark you can use that opens a small applet. It will automatically detect the content of the page you are viewing, and allow you to post from that. Really, a great touch.
