ShareSource goes into Public Beta.
Talented and promising developer Tim Groeneveld has just released his new startup called ShareSource, a project management and distribution solution similar to SourceForge.
From sharesource.org:
“ShareSource started an idea, when Tim Groeneveld created a project on Sourceforge. He found the hassle of needing to go through more then 5 pages to register a project annoying and hard…
ShareSource took away a lot of the duplication that occurs with other sites. Some sites provide many version control systems, ShareSource, after a lot of consideration, only provides support one: Subversion.
Subversion is an industry standard revision control system, which is open source, and available on all most used platforms today.”
Congrats, Tim. Best of Success.
MP to the rescue!
Converting audio to a lower bitrate. I noticed that iTunes 7 has multi-core support as well as sse3 and mmx instructions. It’s very very fast converting, at about 3 seconds a song.
Thanks, Apple! You’ve made my investment worthwhile.
One of the coolest pictures I’ve ever taken.
